WPIRG is excited to welcome the new members of the Board of Directors as elected at our Annual General Meeting on April 2015.
Matt Feagan (community member), Amna El-Shatshat (4B Biochemistry), Shalaka Jadhav (2B Planning), Brandon Love (4A Geomatics), Angela Ko (3B Computer Engineering), Amal Sabrie (3B Psychology) and Menaka Shanmuganatha (3B Applied Health Studies) will serve on the WPIRG Board of Directors along side continuing Board members Filzah Nasir (4B Environmental Engineering) and Sepehr Mohaddes (PhD Candidate, Mechanical Engineering). WPIRG would also like to thank our members Maximillian Altvater (1B Geography), Zainab Mahdi (1B Health Studies) and Dave Beverly-Foster (4B Environment and Resource Studies) for also running for the Board of Directors. They will continue working with WPIRG in other ways and we are grateful to have them as active WPIRG members!
Last but not certainly not least, WPIRG would like to thank outgoing Board members Becca Redden (4th year Independent Studies), Yumna Zaghlol (4th year of Peace and Conflict Studies), Thomas Little (3rd year Music) and Shifa Abbas (4th year Biotechnology) for their amazing work on the Board over the past two years. On behalf of all our members, thank you for giving us your time and taking care of the administrative side of things that make it possible for WPIRG members to run our action groups, campaigns, events and other activities.
