In order to help inform our membership and encourage participation in the 2014 FEDS elections, the WPIRG Board of Directors asked the current FEDS Executive candidates a set of questions dealing with social and environmental justice issues on campus. Topics include student engagement in FEDS, rising tuition costs, mental health, WPIRG’s office, FEDS support for services such as the Women’s Centre and GLOW, and FEDS action on ongoing campus issues such as racism, sexism and homophobia.
Attached below are our questions and responses from Team Nova, Team Green and Team Spark. We encourage you to consider them carefully and to vote in this year’s elections. Voting begins February 11 at 10am and ends on February 13 at 10pm. Vote here.
